When Pakistan obtained independence in 1947, the southern port metropolis of Karachi was its provisional national capital. In 1958, a Fee was constituted to choose a suitable site in the vicinity of Rawalpindi for that countrywide capital with individual emphasis on spot, local climate, logistics, a
